Teachers Rule & Love What They Do.
Each of us are lucky as we learn something new.
It is a wonder some disrespect,
or shun the privilege away,
I value what I have been taught
each and every day.
I may not remember every calculation,
or every element of grammar,
but the life experiences that they’ve built
became truly what matters.
I’ve never liked to test,
or measure against the crowd.
I treasure being unique
and feel lucky to have been allowed.
Our teachers give so much
to ensure our success.
Allowing creativity
to help us do our best.
If we’re having trouble
they put in the extra time.
And they are concerned about our ability
not making an extra dime.
But they deserve fair pay
for building the next leaders.
And it all starts
with parents who are reader,s
and show an interest in a child
helping them in this world.
Each of us are an example
wherever our voice can be heard.
So remember you are a teacher
as you share talent and communicate.
Please let the positive start with you.
Remember it is never too late.
